Oz is a horrible little man as well as Solomon's husband and keeper of his sanity. Like Solomon, he is an immensely powerful and skilled practitioner; less like Solomon, he's a brash, impulsive, goofy old man, but also effortlessly brilliant and genuinely charming.
He keeps his huge library and anything else he wants to hide in his heavily protected refuge he likes to call 'the roost'. It's only accessible via his abilities and the knowledge of its whereabouts lies with him and only him.
His ability to teleport (provided he's been to the place he's going before) keeps him free to do what he likes. He values this freedom immensely.
The past few decades of his life have kinda turned him into a powder keg of boiling rage. Its not super apparent to anyone but Solomon, but he's on a very short fuse with a very big bomb at the end. Has become reliant on the teleportation to avoid losing his shit.
