Elliot is the resident undead stoner and best friend of Beatrix. He's kenned and an ex-apprentice (soon to be apprenticed again by Solomon) who had been previously killed in a magic-related accident. Luckily for him, his former mentor had been working on resurrection theory for the past two decades. Less luckily for him, his mentor was executed by Gordias before he even woke up because the things that were done to bring him back him were, out of necessity, neither subtle nor morally acceptable. He has been property of Gordias ever since. Due to the relatively low level of threat he poses and the fact that he is one of only 4 kenned Gordias assets, he is allowed to be a part of the Crisis Unit.
He's the only known example of successful resurrection, and as a result is of great scientific interest to both Solomon and the ARC researchers.
Despite the difficulty teaching him and the fact that he's a punkass little stoner boy, Solomon adores and babies the hell out of him. He's outraged by essentially every part of his past and is now viciously protective of him.
