A bit of a rebel by nature, this toxic gas-spewing hell-serpent has been riding a long chain of demotions for a few centuries now, but he's one long scaly horse that cannot be broken. As a last straw punishment for killing his former boss, Moloch is assigned to be glorified babysitter for the newly-christened Antichrist when she's released and placed under Theo's care. No one expects him to last all that long.

His ethereal form is typically a very long caterpillar-like lindwurm, but he changes size as he pleases

His vessel is covered head to toe in seals (the tattoos) intended to keep him from misbehaving the way he has every other time he's been sent topside

Hasn't been topside in quite a while though, so he's both very rusty at pretending to be a human and completely out of touch.

He's surprisingly clever and easy to work with, but relentlessly untrustworthy. Everyone he's ever served under has ended up with a knife in their back at some point; whether or not anyone could definitively prove it, it became fairly obvious what was happening. He's still around because devils are a limited resource and the guys downstairs are loathe to actually put any out of commission, especially one of the few with any brains to speak of. At this point, though, he's pushed his luck about as far as it will go.
